Latest Firmware - 1.1.4.8 - Download Fails when pressing Download

Title pretty much sums it up.

When I press Download on the screen, it almost instantly says Download Failed.

It’s a Creality K2 Plus. It’s on the my network and I can access it from both my desktop and phone apps. It is currently running 1.1.3.13.

Yet another issue with this constant nightmare of a machine.

Never mind. Like magic, it appears to be working now. Didn’t change a thing. Sigh.

Latest I see, is:
1.1.2.10: https://www.creality.com/download/creality-k2-plus-cfs-combo (outdated!)
1.1.3.13: Flagship Series Firmware Download | Creality 3D Printer Firmwares
1.1.4.8: https://www.crealitycloud.cn/downloads/firmware/flagship-series/k2-plus (Chinese only?)
Why would Creality only release it for China?
1.1.4.8 beta GitHub - CampbellFabrications/Creality-K2-Plus-V1.1.4.8-Beta: Creality K2 Plus extracted firmwares by version - this seems quite risky in my opinion.
Not hopeful that any official firmware update will be any better (or sooner) however - maybe “outsourcing” the firmware through GitHub will end up being a good idea?

Same thing happened to me. About the 5th or 6th attempt, it worked.

Seeing lots of people with weird issues using firmware 1.1.4.8, requiring a “downgrade”…
Consider avoiding this one; another may come out soon.

I had a ton of issues with 1.1.3.13. My machine offered an automatic update to 1.1.4.8 and since then I’ve had a few issues, but most of my problems disappeared. I’m getting a usable printer now. If they could just solve the problem of the crashes after SAVE_CONFIG in fluid. After SAVE_CONFIG, I have to power off and back on or when I try to home I get errors with the x axis riding against the wall instead of where it’s supposed to do it, or the bed goes all the way down, then up alittle and then hard into the floor. All of these shut down the printer with an error. I shouldn’t have to hard power reset the machine every tim I update the config and restart the firmware.
