LED light mod to add LED's

I want to add some LEDs to the side just above the cooling fan on the side of my printer, The mod shows running a wire to the motherboard. I think it will be on all the time. I want it to turn off with the installed LED. I want to splice into the already installed light.

I just checked the power on the already installed LEDs. They are 24 v DC. Did the mod and it works great!

You could just buy some LED’s from Corsair run them round your printer wherever you want them and control them with the Icue software from your PC

A little late here. I picked up two LED lights from Amazon. They are called cabinet lights.

They are USB, so if you’re not using a riser, it would raise the glass to the height of the cable. I have a riser so I modified the corner piece using the drill function in Creality Print. I was amazed it worked. Cut a hole through the part.

It is a very nice lighting set.
