I have a Ender 3 Pro. It used to work flawlessly. I recently just moved it into an enclosure and that’s when I notice shifts in prints or a single piece of it or a support being knocked. Only a support would be hit, or one object was shifted. Though the other objects in that same height would look off. I thought maybe something was binding or getting hot so I did the following.:
- Cleaned and lubed the z axis screw
- Upgraded to a 60x60x10 fan with a shroud pointed out the front of the printer.
- Ensured brass nut isn’t bolted tight
- Belts are tight but not guitar string tight.
- Gears on steppers are pressed on.
- Printed with enclosure open still had issue (identical extruding temps as I normally run)
- Zaxis turned by hand doesn’t seem to stick or have hard spots to move by
I did notice 1 wheel on the x gantry free spins so I need to fix that for sure. Right now I am running the enclosure open test but with the extrusion temperature 10deg lower. So far it has gone further then anything without impact. Can the extrusion temperature make that much of a difference? Anything else I should look into?
Getting a bit frustrated at this point.
Thank you
