I have a 8 month old K2 Plus with CFS. For the first 5 months I had no issues. Then I started printing with Hyper Luminous Blue PLA. For the last 3 months I have had no shortage of issues including:
Failure to retract and extrude issues
The printer will stop extruding mid print but not detect the issue and continue resulting in unfinished objects
Fail to unload the filament when commanded without manually helping give it a tug
These issues started with just luminous blue and in CFS bay 4, but now happen on any color in any CFS bay that is printed.
I have tried to:
Replace the PTFE tubing in the CFS although it didn’t appear to be very warn and I have only printed about 150 hours total
Tried changing the temperature that the luminous blue is printed at thinking it could be heat creep, also printed with the top of the unit open
Tried repositioning the CFS
I took off the extruder cleaned all gears and removed any debris (this was minimal)
I also purchased another CFS so I could use more colors and I’m testing that one on a white PLA and luminous blue print right now. That one seems to be working ok although we are in mid-print…

I was wondering if you figured out your issue with the Luminous PLA. I have been trying to print with it recently and had nothing but trouble. I have tried the same things you have but I keep having issues with it stopping to extrude mid print. I thought it might be the filament itself but I tried 2 different Luminous PLA and still same issues. I have tried so many settings and im using a 0.6mm nozzle.
Don’t know if this will help I was having printing issues with the standard Hotend but I changed it for a Micro Swiss Highflow hotend. I think creality seriously need to sort out the quality of this sort of thing you should never have to go to and out sourced part to make their machines run better. Frustrating indeed. I still have issues with my first 2 layers of print from time to time, it’s really not consistent at all
I had the same issue, replacing the heating block solved all my issues at once.

Thank you all for your responses. I messed around, with the tubing a bit more since it seemed a bit suspicious so when I removed the tubing it actually started printing. So I think ill be looking for a better PTFE tube maybe with a larger diameter to have the filament move through it with less resistance.
I effectively rebuilt both CFS’s last night and cleaned or replaced every part of the pipeline. I’m still having consistent issues with retraction and extrusion. For what it’s worth I haven’t had any problems with the Bambu H2C on the luminous blue. That’s not to say it has been issue free because it hasn’t but the AMS have been more consistent so far.
I found that the issues I was having was with cardboard spools or spools not wide enough. I make sure to use strickly plastic spools and use mainly creality spools or,beleave it , Hobby Lobby spools.
