I like that 5.x produces much faster prints than the previous, but I can no longer access the machine details page to track the progress of the print. Here is what I see on my machines page now.

Can you access it via the printer IP address from your browser?
Not sure what’s going on there but the details page section is working just fine here with Creality Print 5.xxx
Yes, and this has been my workaround. It’s more convenient to have them in the same place, but at least I can still get there from the browser.
I’m guessing they hard coded some size or font scaling in the UI and my computer’s screen is somehow different enough from the machine they tested on. I get the same thing from the laptop display or when using an external display though.
system>display>scale & layout adjust the scale until it fits on the screen. I had this with 4.3.x the settings button for the material/extrusion/etc would fall off the bottom of the screen.
Thanks. Yes, this does fix it, but at the cost of every other application on the device now looking worse. I maintain that this is a bug in the updated program, since it’s the only application that isn’t able to display properly with the default display scale settings. Thank you for sharing the workaround.
Dunno why but their software doesn’t seem to maximize and leave everything on the screen like other programs do. Irs been like it for many releases, seems to be one of the easy things to fix.
