In all my efforts to make this work I purchased a new PEI plate from Creality. It arrived and I went to replace it and seen cracking. Is this normal for a 3 week old printer?

From what I see in your picture, this is the magnetic foam base the PEI plate sits on.
Some wrinkling seems to be normal as the base on my SE is the same, however if the wrinkled area corresponds to anomalies in the bed mesh it may be a plate heater issue.

This is a K2 standard I got with the combo. I received this on 8/16/2026 so I wouldn’t think it should show these signs being only a few weeks old.
I will reach out and see if they will send a replacement.
