Hi all My S-Daughter decided to help me and has taken an interest in 3d printing.
Unfortunately, she has managed to screw something up with regards to the firmware.
She did a firmware update, not sure how she managed it but when I got back this weekend there was a load of firmware updates on my PC, it would seem when she updated and the printer went a bit screwy she tried multiple updates to the firmware, she said at one point it all came up in Chinese. Figured out, she went onto the Creality site from what I can see to the correct page but has managed to try all of the firmware for this printer without checking to see if it was 8bt or 32bt
anyway the old version that was on it from what I can remember was

Ender-5 Pro
Extruder:1
Baudrate: 115200.
Marlin
Ver 1.0.1

it seems to be a Creality v4.2.2 y3 , motherboard… Arm STM32F103 chip
new firmware
the one that is currently installed is
from what I can tell it says
Creality 3D
2.0.6

Ender-5 ProCreality V4.2.2
Extruder:1
I can get the machine to kind of run but when I send to print either with the Memory card or via PC it looks like its printing but all that happens is the screen shows printing climbs up after maybe a minute it says completed but all that has happened is that it shows 100% on the screen nothing moves on the printer itself I’m hoping that is just a setup issue something missing or not set up properly I can get the y.x. z to move. via motion controls and the heating to work. but when I switch it on the bed is around 3" lower and does not lift to the print position also if I hit the home function it moves to the top right and then moves to almost the centre of the plate, also I can’t get the bed to move up as it shows zero at the motion function and won’t go below 0000 I can drop the bed no problem and raise it to the oo mark but I can’t get it any closer to the print head without manually moving it and then it just resets itself back to the 3" from the Printhead.
can anyone give me what settings I should be showing on the screen etc Help:
