When I print a large mirrored part (horizontally), the part on the left prints according to dimension but the part on the right hand side does not. The quality of both parts is good but the right hand print seems to be stretched rotationally if that makes any sense. Does anyone have an idea how this can occur? I have printed this on another machine and it prints correctly and the parts match.
Are you using Creality Print to mirror the part or are you mirroring it in CAD then using that?
I am mirroring it in my cad software. The main part is mirrored but on one side there is detail for csk screw heads and on the other part there is detail for the nuts that are counter sunk.
I noticed last night that the bowden tube is very short. I am going to replace it in the morning. Do you think that could cause this?
If the printhead can’t move freely because the bowden tube is to short you can get dimension problems… but you should have hearded some strange noises while printing…
Thanks for answering. I didn’t hear anything out of the ordinary The machine runs pretty much dead quiet. I replaced the bowden today but didn’t have time to test. Hopefully tomorrow will be quieter. I will report back as soon as I have tested it. Is there anything else you know about that could cause this?
