I know there’s an issue with the X-belt becoming misaligned with some saying this is due to something not being aligned from the factory. Was there ever an official fix, or what’s the best available fix for this issue?
Knowing there “could” be an issue and having the issue are two seperate things… So the question is: do you have an issue with the X-belt?
Solution: make sure everythings lines up… remember, 3D-printing is not simply click-and-go…
If I remember correctly, I had to line up the frame of my Ender 3 pro with the gantry before I started printing the first object…
Hi, yes I have an issue with my X-belt sounding like it’s grinding/catching. I’ve just had everything torn apart & completed a linear rail upgrade, realigning the belts etc. It sounds like it’s coming from the stepper motor / the teeth that guide the belt.
Mind, I’ve had this printer since Jan 2024 & have had this issue for a while with some minor fraying of the belt visible, so I’m not too bothered. I’ve just never thought to ask 
I’ve tried this fix ENDER 3 V3 SE Grinding X / Y Belt Fix V1 by Jorgeelfurioso | Download free STL model | Printables.com but the noise persists. I also saw a reddit post suggesting adding some washers below the stepper motor to raise it a couple mm, but a second opinion wouldn’t hurt.
