I just got my first K1C setup, but it does not have a Network tab. From other topics it seems it is running a “service” firmware, whatever that is? I tried updating the firmware using the standard ways, but the printer’s OS doesnt recognize the new firmware.

The Problem: Many K1C units sold in Brazil come with Wi-Fi disabled by default. To enable it, you MUST update the firmware using the correct file for the new 2025 hardware.
The Solution:

Go to the Creality Cloud Download Page.

CRITICAL: Check your mainboard model. For the 2025 version, the board is CR4SU200382C13.

Download ONLY the latest version. I used V1.0.0.26.20251024S.
WARNING: I tried an older 2025 firmware (V1.0.0.23) and the display stopped working completely. I got extremely lucky and managed to blind-click the “update” button to install the newer version and fix the screen. If you use a firmware for a different board, the printer won’t even recognize it.

O Problema: Muitas unidades da K1C vendidas no Brasil vêm com o Wi-Fi desabilitado de fábrica (sem o menu Network). Para resolver, é obrigatório atualizar o firmware para a versão correta da nova placa de 2025.

Baixe APENAS a versão mais recente. A que funcionou para mim foi a V1.0.0.26.20251024S.
AVISO DE PERIGO: Eu tentei uma versão mais antiga de 2025 (V1.0.0.23) e o display parou de funcionar. Ficou tudo preto. Dei muita sorte de conseguir clicar no “botão invisível” de atualizar para a versão nova e recuperar a tela. Se tentar instalar o firmware de outra placa (modelo antigo), a impressora nem reconhece o arquivo.
