Revert to an earlier update.
Hope it helps!
@zerquetch how to you revert firmware back to prior version?
Since my firmware upgrade my K2 randomly throws up “System error” about 1 in every 3-4-5 prints, usually after about 5 minutes of printing. Restarting the printer seems to clear it for the repeat print but eventually it happens again.
Same error xs2001 after upgrade firmware 1.1.4.8
I think it was initialisation of CFS it was too slow ?
Who have try too downgrade firmware ?
How to downgrade firmware version: CFS firmware level and process for K2 Plus firmware downgrade to previous version?
Got two system errors one after the other this morning and the second time it gave an XS2060 error code. The accompanying QR code link gives the same solution suggestion as on the screen ie “try restarting”. Seems to happen usually in the layers just after the printer has finished laying down the brim.
The QR code ( XS2060 | Creality Wiki ) suggests possibly ;
Software problem: When Klipper processes a command, it encounters an exception in the internal logic or process flow. As a result, the command cannot be executed properly.
Configuration or code error: If the command refers to a specific configuration or script, there may be a configuration error or a problem in the code.
Communication error: A communication failure between the microcontroller (MCU) and the host can also cause commands not to be executed correctly
Not very helpful. The recent double fail was during the printing of an almost trivial object , a conical segment with a small bore in the middle. Object printed fine the third time
Sorry to reply so late, was out of town (Victoria BC is beautiful!!!)
On to the matter at hand:
I had a list of things to say, when I received this from a buddy of mine, here’s the short version:
The Hidden File: On the Creality download page, the firmware you need (the previous stable version) often isn’t listed in the main list. You need to click the plus sign next to “Old Versions” to find it.
USB Formatting: You cannot just drag the file onto any USB drive. You must format the drive to ExFAT using your OS’s disk utility, or the K2 Plus bootloader will ignore it.
The “Upgrade” Button: When you plug the USB in and boot the printer, the screen will ask if you want to “Upgrade.” It feels wrong since you are downgrading, but you have to click “Upgrade” to force the installation.
Recalibrate: The rollback wipes your config files. You will need to run the self-check/start detection immediately after the reboot.
