My K2 Plus receives the files and initiates the printing process. The elevator rises, but then the system goes into idle mode without printing. I factory reset 3X. ran calibration 3X. There was an X by the belt calibration, and I followed the troubleshooting tasks as stated. I am still receiving the X by belt calibration even though the machine runs the leveling process. Any suggestions?
Does this happen with all models, and have you tried a different model or filament? If you’re using the CFS, disconnect it temporarily and load from the side spool to rule out a feeder issue. The K2 Plus will halt a print if any motion-system check fails, so narrowing the source matters.
Have you turned off the AI checks in the menu? That can help bypass false positives, but it will not override a genuine belt or homing fault.
If you’re comfortable with Fluidd, download and review the KLIPPY.log. That file shows exactly which subsystem triggered the stop. If you’re not used to reading logs, pass the file to your preferred AI and ask it to identify the underlying fault. It will walk you through the steps to extract the log if needed and give a direct explanation of what the printer is reporting.
Here’s how to get access, point your browser to your printers IP address and append the IP address with a ":4408" to access the Fluidd port. Then click on the Klippy Log and save the file then upload to your favorite AI.
AI parses the failure path faster than any of us, so it’s a useful shortcut when chasing these intermittent stops.
