It’s been printing fine but failed on the last multi-color print with the CZ2762 message. Now nothing will print. The wiping module is fine. I’m assuming it is the leveling sensor, but how it would get damaged is a question? If that is the problem, how would it get damaged give how the extruder is designed? Anyone else have this problem through normal use? the printer is only a couple of months old with low usage.
A quick update. Apparently the sensor was damaged. Not sure why given I’ve only printed a couple of dozen items. Per the support page, if stuff hasn’t fallen off, replace the strain gauge, which I did. They do provide screen shots and instructions, not a trivial fix given you have to take apart the entire hot end to get to the sensor. The good news is two hours later, one left over screw, not sure from where, it is back in working order.
I’m having the same issue. Four prints and now this error. Less than 3 weeks old.
Three prints later, It happened again. The only common element I have found is if the little box that catches the transition filament is clogged or full, the hotend can get stuck on a glob of filament. Maybe it overheats or something? Maybe Creality can confirm? Maybe the cutting box needs to be wider. It’s pretty easy if you’re doing multi-color to have a lot of filament pooped out the backside and if you’re not careful for it to get full or clogged. Luckily I bought three sensors the last time…
Same here.
Strain gauge fix can be done in 15-20 mins total of 13 screws and 3 plugs. They have a tutorial video on YouTube. It’s pretty common to see go out as it’s right up against the hot end. Good to have a spare in case it goes out mid print. It is mainly used for sensing the layers and bed. So if your first layer is crap this could be the reason.
Just had a print fail 22 hours in, message on screen was TE2762. This strain gauge issue seems somewhat common? Is it going to be a frequent issue?
