I setup my new creality hi printer and it printed the samples ok but I can’t see it from my network. It shows an IP address under network. But I’ve tried to see it from my network and I can’t see it.
Hi @chisholm I only saw your post now. Are you still having this issue?
When trying to see your printer in your browser if you put the ip address in followed by “ :4408 “ does it bring up the fluidd interface?
Have you bound it to your creality profile?
Have you tried to factory reset the printer incase something went coocoo?
Printing from USB the usb has to be formated to fat32 otherwise the printer wont see it.Did you confirm it was the correct format?
Please let me know if you are still having these issue and we can see if we can fix this together! ![]()
I know this post is old now, but I am having the same problem. USB is formatted correctly, but printer won’t read it. Can’t SSH into it because it says the device doesn’t exist. When I try to view in the browser I get this error: nginx/1.19.6 404 not found. I wanted to do a factory reset, but I can’t because the USB port isn’t working. Any tips, if anyone sees this after so many months? Thanks!
Ensure your USB is formatted to FAT32 and then download and copy the newest firmware file and paste it onto the USB drive. Use the menu on the printer screen to choose the files folder icon. Then choose the USB drive section. It should say Empty. Then plug the USB drive into the printer and it should then give you a message USB Flash Drive Inserted. Can you get this far? Have you tried another USB flash drive?
What version of firmware is on your printer?
Can you see your Wi-FI SSID on your printer under Settings and Network?
You don’t need a USB flash drive to perform a factory reset on your printer. Use the panel and go onto Settings and scroll down to Reset to default and then press the Restore button.
When I tried the reset on the panel the other day it didn’t work; tried it again today and it did. Who knows, but it is working for now. Thanks for your reply!
