My K2 Plus just made an awful noise and aborted with a y-movement error. when I investigated I found this part in the bottom of the machine:
Everything seems to be working fine. What is this part? Where does it go? Should I put it back or leave it off?
Does anyone use this message board? Seems like no one ever gets any kind of answer to anything here??
Funny you mention that. I usually do get answers here, but this one seems to just linger.
that looks like the board cover on the back of the extruder. It just snaps on.
@hvse06 Nailed it! That is what it was and it did just snap right in. Thanks!
no problem.. I’ve had my extruder apart several times (none of them for pure curiousity) and have taken that part off.
