Need help, my brand new CR-10 SE fails to level.

Hi, I’m noob to Creality and fairly new to 3D printing.

Yesterday I picked up a new CR-10 SE at the shop. I did a test print there, and then did two prints at home. The third print failed with layer shifting and the fourth with spaghetti. I did calibration again, and I noticed that the motor has some clicking noise to it. This wasn’t when the print bed was at its edge.

At one point I did a version upgrade so I thought maybe that’s the issue. I tried factory reset and now the printer is still stuck at the self-levelling phase. The printing head tries to exit the edges of the bed and then fails. It is as if the bed is not centered or something.

The error I get is 2022 which I understand is about the belt tension (the tension seems to be proper) or alignment (which looks like this is indeed the issue). Only, I have no idea how to adjsut the alignment. Since I’m completely new to this printer, I have no idea how to even search for the right terms here. I would really appreciate your help here.

Thank you,

Yotam

I might have solved this. Or at least improved. I found these two service guides. Indeed, the y-axis screw was a bit loose, and I messed with the front screw as well at one point. I will try to do a real print later.
