Hello everyone I need some help. I’m new to the 3d printer community. Recently purchased my K2 about a week ago. Set up everything up and it work like champ. My last print I stepped away for a bit then came back to the blob of death. I replace the block with no problem. Turned it back on to get it running again keep getting an error 2076. Couldn’t find anything about the code online. Decided to do a factor reset to see if that would solve my issue. So I recalibrated the machine and try to run a test print with a boat. Now I’m getting another code 2005. Please can any help with suggestions or lead me in the right direction. Please and thank you.
Blobs can sometimes damage or loosen something in the toolhead, especially the thermistor or heater wiring. Even if the hotend block was replaced successfully, it’s pretty common for a connector to get pulled slightly loose when removing the blob or swapping parts. Lets start by opening the toolhead cover and checking that all the plugs on the toolhead board are seated properly, especially the thermistor and heater cartridge wires. It’s also worth checking the main cable going to the print head to make sure nothing got pinched or partially unplugged. After that, power the printer off, unplug it for a couple minutes, then turn it back on and run the calibration again.
If you’ve tried all of that and the errors are still there, it’s possible that something in the toolhead was damaged during the incident and may need replacing. In that case Creality support should be able to help with the correct parts or further troubleshooting
Hello Alwhile !
To add on what Alawhie said, when do you get this error ? During heating ? During leveling ?
Do you see anything weird ? Like a negative temperature ?
A video of the whole process always helps to locate this issue
Also, what exactly did you change ? The whole hotend ? The whole head ?
Thanks Alawhie, here is a picture of the takedown does anything look off? Going to put back together and calibrate again. I do have videos but it wont let me post on here.
i would replace the circuit board that the heater and temperature sensor plugs into . from the picture you have supplied the connector housing for both has come away when you removed then. The new connector would not lock in correctly.
