Even with the smart plug, initializing the CFS every time you have to restart the printer is cumbersome at best. Nothing on the network side has changed, it’s a static IP and the switch hasn’t done anything funky. It’s a matter of their hacky fork of orca or something in the printer’s networking code. Wondering when things like this are going to get patched.
Lets see what the next release does. They are getting there, slowly but surely.
Oh I know that and believe me, I’ve been trying to keep the positive throughout this “new car model” type era, it’s just more frustrating at certain times than others.
