Network Status "OFFLINE"

My K2 is currently running Firmware V 1.1.2.6. After a print the printer status in “Creality Print” in the “Device” tab shows “Offline”. I have to restart the printer when this happens. The printer is connected to my Network via Ethernet cable, On the Machine control panel under “Network” the Ethernet status shows connected, and I can Ping the machine from my windows PC.

As a result I cannot execute a print job or issue machine commands. However I can reach the machine through the mobile app. Any body else having this issue?

Can you reach the printer through the web interface? My V3KE is also showing as offline in creality print, but I can access it through a browser and through Orca slicer. I either slice and print through Orca or I slice in creality print, save gcode to a file and then upload via the web interface to print.

Yes Works off the browser and orca. Can’t use Orca cuz it does not support the CFS.

Having the same issue. After every print, Windows app shows the printer offline, even though I can connect and change settings through the android app.

I’m having the same issue. Anyone find a fix for it yet?

Had same problem before last firmware. Installed the update stil had the problem. Then i needed a factory reset now al works fine can let open creality print al day. There is only sometime that the cfs cant be updated then i need to restart creality print.

Same thing for me today. Shows online in the Creality Cloud but offline locally. I restarted the Creality Print 6.0 app and no change. Can access it from fluidd and ip still matches the panel and the app.

Problem is you cant use the web interface to access CFS, you need to restart the machine to get it to register as online, sometimes multiple times, and restarting the machine is time consuming.

I ran into the same problem. I logged out and exited out of the program. Then logged back in and it fixed the issue.

Regarding “offline” status.

I have only had the K2 Plus since mid January, but I have done a lot of prints. Mid-February, during every print, all of sudden it was offline. Only work-around was to reboot the K2. I initially thought it was one of the firmware updates or app releases, However, albeit very subjective, it seemed to get worse over time.
The only thing that changes over time is the number of files, videos, etc. that are stored. Therefore in the device tab of the app, I deleted all the files as a test. Worked perfectly, it has been printing for 3 days straight with no issues whatsoever. So periodically I will remove this stuff.

Hope this helps.

I don’t know if the K2 is similar to my Qidi printers in that they have a USB WIFI dongle on the motherboard. The usual hack being replace that dongle with a decent one from TPLink et al.

Not sure. I do not use wifi on my network. My K2 is hard wired. Always has been.

My guess is Creality has an issue with memory house keeping and file management routines.

But that is just a guess based on my own experience.

As far as my connection, video always works and even when “offline” I can ping the printer.

I’m hardwired too, just makes more sense. Hope you get an answer.

Clarification: When I said “when offline I can ping the printer”, this is before I removed files. I have no issue at all now, and do not require any answer.

I only provided this suggestion to others having “offline” issues as a possible fix.
