I have gotten that message a few times and use Creality Print so assume it is a bug they will fix soon.
I got my K2 Pro about a week ago. I first printed the included benchy and it worked perfectly. I didnāt print anything else. I then upgraded to the new firmware version 1.1.3.6. After that I wasnāt able to print anything. Not from Orcaslicer, not from Creality Print and not even the included benchy. I also did a factory reset, but that didnāt help. Itās always the same issue. The print starts calibrating and after that I get the message āPrint canceledā. (I donāt remember any error messages). I now downgraded to v1.1.0.94 and everything is working.
K2 SE - 2.3.6.49 - New printer, new update - It seems to OK. Vladimir
So I decided to update my K2 Pro although itās been working fine since I bought it last year.
I could not despite all suggestions get it working with Orca Slicer. The file would upload, Orca would switch to the device tab and crash. The printer would just sit in the printing menu doing nothing. I could not pause or cancel the print, the only thing that worked was a power off reset.
I tried with Creality Print v7 and it has been working ok.
What I do not like is that Creality has released a version that crashes Orca Slicer, although the previous version worked just fine. I just hope that Creality is not going down the Bamboo Labs route of locking things down
Hi Lori, make sure you have the latest version of Creality Print, a new version came out last week.
Yes, Dave, Iāve been printing since October almost 24/7 with that update (1.1.0.94) without a single issue. Maybe some printers have a different chip, it happened with my old Ender 3 S1 Pro, it had two different chip versions . Back then, I didn 't upgrade to the last update because it was too unstable. So, I recommend you stay with the former firmware and wait for a new release. Iām sure Creality will release a new firmware in the next few months.
Same happened to me after the update but on my K2 base. From Orca it doesnāt start printing and from Creality slicer it auto cancels the print. But on the K2 Pro the update works perfect both with Orca and Creality Slicer.
No issues after the update.
I just updated the firmware on my K2 pro
and so far is working real good
I only get that message on my k2 pro if I get a stl or 3mf file from another source and some of the code isnāt the same in which case Creality slicer usually inputs itās equivalent code and omits what it doesnāt have which usually relates to the infill Iāve noticed so far. Accepting and modifying the infill to what you prefer has yielded satisfactory end results.
