Yesterday the Creality Hi firmware CR4NU200360C20_ota_img_V1.1.0.65.img was released, I downloaded manually and installed on my printer.
Now on the control menu there is a new tab «Print settings» and the only option on it is a toggle switch «Motion Advance», What this new settings means and what it do?
Motion advance is supposed to be a feature to compensate for possible VFAs from what I understand. Not sure how it does it and haven’t really tested it since I don’t have an issue with VFAs on my Hi anyway
@impeeza1 have a look at the following video for more info about VFA’s and methods used for reduction. It’s a pretty deep dive, but it totally changed my approach to it since watching the video
