I’m based in Northeast Florida (Jacksonville area). My background is actually in DevOps/systems integration — spent years doing large-scale infrastructure work — and somewhere along the way that turned into an obsession with 3D printing. I like the same kind of problem-solving: dial in a process, make it repeatable, chase down the root cause when something’s not working right.
Right now I’m running a Creality K2 Plus with the CFS multi-color system (added a D3P enclosure top on it too), plus an Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra for resin work. I print and sell functional/decorative pieces — planters, vases, coasters, lamps, that kind of thing — at craft shows and festivals around the area, sharing a booth with my wife’s chainmail jewelry business. I’m slowly building out a proper storefront under the name CornerCad, though that’s still a work in progress.
Lately I’ve been deep in the weeds calibrating transparent filament and chasing print quality issues, so if anyone’s tackled similar stuff I’d love to compare notes. Looking forward to learning from this community and happy to jump in and help troubleshoot where I can too.
