Hello lucky here I have been observing the 3d printing and modeling world since around 2018 just in marvel at the technology and the vast expansion of creativity found just layer by layer as a casual observer I watched the technology get better and faster seeing a video here and there on platforms or tv shows
And then one year 2025 I decided I would put a small cheap printer to “TOY”on my birthday listwell it was amazing when it worked but it fell short of the mark I was looking for so I returned it and was surprised by an upgraded birthday present a k2 plus combo this beast put the NOS in my central nervous system and sparked creativity I didn’t know I had.
I became familiar with how to use the slicer and the tools inside going through the typical trials and tribulations supports not being enabled, bed not being clean causing lift off, print by object interference, embossed text color mapping, orientation for best print quality the basics.
A huge chunk that I had left out is that my father in law the one who surprised me with this huge upgrade also got one for himself and I have shared my journey with him giving him daily progress report on new materials and upgrades for the machine helping him with the same issues I had from lack of knowledge all of my models and campaigns that are running and all the accomplishments I’ve made on the way. he was also the inspiration for my most popular model on the platform the Enterprise benchy I hope to continue to grow my skills and knowledge with the community here in Creality cloud thank you for a wonderful year
