I can’t print anything from the new printer except those models included with the printer.
the IP assigned to the printer is 192.168.1.186 and I can see it from my laptop using ”arp -a” but trying to ping that address fails.
also Creality Print cant find that ip
I don”t want to re-box this printer and return it too amazon, but i’ve run out of things to try.
please ask me any questions to clearify the problem

Have you tried via the Fluidd interface ? IP of the printer followed by ’ :4408 ’
this is getting bazaar in the right direction. I tried pinging 192.168.1.186: 4408 with no luck. I’d become convinced that the printer had to go back as defective. I asked my grandson to take a look and see if he could find something I did wrong. I tried to duplicate the issue. to my TOTAL AMAZEMENT, the problem did not repeat. Is printing fine as I speak, and now i guess I’ll never know what happened. The “right direction”
