I got a K1C 2025 and I’m facing the same issue. Now creality just launched a new CFS for the K1 series. No recall, nothing. Just a “ops, my mistake. Here, buy this new solution”.
WOW this is absolute BS. I got the Upgrade kit too and have a K1C 2025. Did not know that the K1C and the K1C 2025 is not the same. Definately not the only one this is happening to, STILL. They DO NOT make this clear upon purchase. Still no luck Im assuming?
Had the same problem contact creailty they didn’t want to know!!! I payed for it through PayPal…contacted them explained the situation and got a refund through them.
So now have a upgrade kit that’s of no use to me
But at least I got my money back

Creality K1C printers have two mainboard versions for the printhead nozzle board area, causing mismatches with CFS (Creality Filament System) upgrade kits. Older K1C models use a single integrated board without the extra connector plug shown in Creality’s installation video, while newer ones (like those with mainboard CR4SU200382C13) require a specific “new version” nozzle board for CFS compatibility, including filament cutter and run-out sensor connections. The older single-board design lacks the dedicated rear plug (under the wires) needed for CFS wiring and firmware updates, leading to the incompatibility you’re seeing across forums. Newer boards add this connector and possibly enhanced circuitry for better CFS integration, like USB-to-485 communication and auto-filament features. This revision supports multi-color printing but isn’t backward-compatible without replacement.
Any inscritos of if they will operate an exchange program for customers caught in the middle of this?
I hate having a “K1C 2025” that seems crippled and unable to work with the CFS advertised at the time as compatible with all K1C models.
I got the same issue, I already bought all things I need to make it run but no luck.
I wish if they can find a solution to solve this issue.
