Bought a V3 plus as a gift a month ago. It’s had a few spools of Creality PLA Silk, ASA, PLA and most recently PLA-CF. It worked for a week on new Creality PLA but I was informed it jammed. After following the cleaning and replacement of nozzle https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKiZpCxWXVw, I cannot get the unit to extrude any filament. I do hear a constant click, click, click, click… so on, if I unlock the lever at the top after loading new filament. It will not extrude even when heated if I force filament down while heating to 220C and the lever is open, either.
If you hear a clicking noise during extruding then the gears are slipping over the filament. Cause could be a clogged nozzle, you can simply check that by manualy feeding material through the hotend.
Heat the hotend to 250 degrees… wait till it reached this temperature…
Unlock the extruder with the lever and push filament through… should be easy to do that.
If you can’t get any filament through, nozzle could be clogged and you need to unclogg it using the tool you got with the printer…
If you are able to push filament through easily, the problem is in the extruder. Creality has updated the extruder, so you have to replace the extruder unit.
At work we had a bad extrusing after 1200 hrs of printing, gears slipped on the filament, everything work fine after replacement of extruder.
Hello, I have exactly the same problem since today. The printer is new and has roughly printed some hours only over the last few days. Have you solved the problem and if yes, how? Would be happy about a short hint and feedback.
Thanks and best greetings.
