Newbie centering problem

Newbie to 3D. Using an Ender 5(not Pro, not Max) and Creality Print as is comes on the TF card included with the printer. My goal is to print a sailboat hull, keel and rudder from purchased .stl files, so I want the print quality as high as possible. It seems to me that first I need to get the parameters correct for a good print.

I have printed several of the included files and when I tried a insignifiant part of the boat, it was not in the center of the bed as I presumed it would be. All of my test prints are to the left of center(towards the X axis). And while this is not important now, it probably will present a problem when printing the larger hull sections.

I have changed the X and Y widiths in CP/machine to 235mm, to no avail.

I used to use an Ender 5 Plus. If I’m understanding you properly, Your print is not in the right place. If that is correct, just move it, in the slicer, to where you want it, then print it. When you import the file, the slicer just places it close to the center. I personally usually move it to another spot for a better chance of it sticking properly. You might want to try using Orca Slicer. It is a whole lot better than what you are using.
