After using the K1C for two months, I wanted to check out the AI features. I haven’t used them before because I didn’t even think about it. 
Before I would write to tech support, maybe someone has encountered this and knows where to look for the problem with a solution.
When I try to check the detection of the first layer, I get the message “No Lidar detected”. The camera is functioning properly… 
The lidar wire leads to the printhead and the plug there needs to be pushed further in.

K1C does not come with a Lidar only the K1 Max does. If you want to use this you will need to order it from Aliexpres since Creality doesn’t sell it on their website for some reason. Then you will need to wire it in, there is a lidar port on the mainboard, you have to run a wire from the mainboard to the plug labeled Lidar Ext on the print headboard. Once you have that wired in you will see a port on the left side of the printhead that’s in between the two boards and you plug the lidar into that port. You can find it for around 40-60 dollars on Aliexpress.
