i have a Falcon 2 Pro. Works great, does what I ask it to do. However, I’m fed up stringing two USB cables across the study. Is there a an easy way to connect the two USB cables wirelessly? Like a wireless mouse, not needing Pi boards and stuff like that to make it work. There must be simple plug and play connection.
Not directly, there are 3rd party tools like the Mintion Laser Cam or devices that transmit USB wireless (not sure about the reliability of the connection though)
With my Falcon2 22w, I use the Mintion camera as a web based app to control my laser which is at the far end of the house.
It can store files and can control the laser. When I’m doing something with the laser, I just load up the page (on my home LAN) and control everything from there.
Hope this helps ![]()
A Rasberry Pi Zero W with the VirtualHere Server/Client has been working great for me. It wasn’t too hard to set up, and I now have wireless USB for my Falcon 2 and my Silhouette Cameo. As much as I have seen people asking about this I am surprised nobody has started selling them pre-configured.
That is a nifty solution. Do you use USB-micro to USB-C cables?
Will this work with a Falcon 2 Pro which uses two USB connections, one for the camera and one for the engraver?
