Nothing printing

Hi All,
Im new to resin printing.
I have recently bought a Halot Mage 8K
I have tried to print the test print that comes with but as yet nothing has printed.
the machine goes through the printing cycle but nothing at all ever prints
I am using the default setting in Halot Box and Creality high precision Skin
has anyone got any ideas of how to start

Take the resin vat out, run the cleaning thing that turns on the display and check if they display lights up and if it has any defects.
