Nozzle keeps hitting purge tower and getting an error.

My K2 Plus keeps over-extruding on the purge tower and then the nozzle hits it and the whole bed shakes. Once it is done the layer, it shows an error, usually a nozzle jam, but occasionally some other ones. I can’t find anyone else who seems to be having the issue and I don’t know if it is an issue with the way it was sliced or an issue with the printer.

Do you slice with Orca Slicer or Creality Print V6.x?

If you use Orca Slicer default K2 Plus profile it contains an error:

Please make sure that these two flags are cleared (NOT enabled as in the picture above): Purge in Prime Tower and Enable Filament Ramming

On K2 with CFS the filament switching macros of the printer do all the purging (poop…) and you don’t need to do it in purge tower which is mainly for printers which have no filament cutter and purge procedure.

Thanks, I’ll try that.
