Old 3v2 Pro

Got hold of an Ender 3v2 Pro that hasn’t been used in a couple years. It’s got a couple of printed accessories, a BLTouch, and a spool of Hatchbox PLA. It looks like the sw version is 4.2.7. It turns on, and heats up okay. However, there’s no SIM card. I assume I can buy a blank SIM, but what files need to be on it? Can I flash the memory and start fresh?

Hello and welcome

If you go to the Creality website you can download the updated software and any files you may need. Yes, you can flash the memory.

SD cards are qite cheap but they need formatting. An SD card up to 32Gb should be formatted to FAT32. You can use larger SD cards but they need partitioning so maybe easier to use 32Gb.

You can reset to the factory setting by selecting settings icon and scrolling down to Reset Factory Settings

Hope this helps :+1:

It does indeed help, my friend. I’ve looked at the download page at Creality and saw quite a few files available. Is there a list somewhere of the specific files a 3v2 Pro requires? I’ll do the factory reset in a minute, and will pick up a 32Gb SIM later today.

Thank you again for your help.
