Out the Box - Creality Hi CFS Combo extrusion issue

Hi Guys,

I am still new to 3D Printing and couldn’t wait to get my hands on a multicolor printer (PS: My 2nd CFS is on its way). I took my absolute time watching videos upon videos on how to inbox and get this machine ready for uts 1st print.

I loaded up the 4 creality branded spools, followed all the instructions, triple checked everything and and attempted my 1st 4 colour print without success. In all cases it seems that there is a flow / extrusion issue and even when I attempt to print 1 colour through the CFS its not working properly.

Even with this (one out of a bunch of) error/s it prints perfectly 1 color with the spool holder.

Warning: AL0504 - Current file does not support flow detection

What am I doing wrong? As the suppliers techie i bought it from isn’t very helpful at all.

Maybe your extruder have a cable unplugged, check all extruder cables.

Fair enough but this is a brand new printer out of the box. I went ahead and ordered CFS no. 2, disconnected CFS 1 and resliced the design and now its giving me Error FR2851.

Funny that I printed perfectly with 1 color through the spool holder though.
