PETG does not fix on bed

Hi all there.

I’m new printing PETG (not with PLA) and trying to print with Ender 3 V3 KE I’m not abe to fix the print on bed. I tried different temperatures (230 - 250ºC for extrusor and from 60 to 85ºC for bed), different speeds (20 to 50 mm/s), three slow layers, brim, etc. and alway, after or before, the piece is taking off from bed.

Please, what advice may anyone say to me to print PETG succesfully?

Thanks a lot.

A little closer to the bed on the z offset, though not as close as PLA which likes a real good squish. A properly cleaned bed and IPA too. Gluestick if all else fails, I’m not ashamed to admit to using it sometimes.

printing petg with a textured PEI plate ? if yes then the z offset must be lower, use a thin paper to set the ofset right, the paper must be difficult to move.

I apologize if someone mentioned it already here but PETG really likes to stick to the build plate so once you get your Z offset dialed in use some glue to act as a release agent to make it easier to get the model off the build plate. Kind of like using PAM to get the pancakes out without sticking…

Hello.

Thanks for the replies.

I didn’t mentioned that the problem is wit the V3 KE with texturized bed and with my Ender 3 v1 with mirror bed too using same material.

When adjutst my Ender 3 v1 I use a peper for PLA, I understand that for PETG this offset is higer (I’ve read three pieces of paper but I tell you this doesn’t work, I think is too much).

On ender 3 V3 Ke, how do I adjust Z offset? I go to Adjust on menu and I have Z offset set to -2.18. If I move it the Z axis is too far from bed, I can’t use the paper and whe I print with calibration enabled the value changes and now is -2.20.

Thanks a lot for your help to all.

I print with calibration disabled, for me it seems to undo the z-offset.

That’s I noticed printing the las cube, I modified the Z offset and when the cailibration initiates it is moved.
