PETG pros - am I expecting too much or is this normal?

Kris, as mentioned already I would never go with Generic filament profile anywhere!
@Martin_Prent made already several good suggestions.
The kingroon petg shows 215-245°C print temperature, I would set it for the first calibration test to 240. look at the spec sheets what else you need to change (for example lower cooling) and then run a calibration test part to see PA and flow rate.

The strange things is that on the amazon page they propose another temperature range of 210–230 °C and they propose 230 here as default.

Also the print speed: On Amazon they say 40-80mm/s which is only a max flow rate of ~7mm³/s and which is very low.

If you look for similar priced good high speed PETG then try Elegoo RAPID PETG (you also can use DEEPLEE which is the same as Elegoo), I have a max flow rate set there to 21mm³/s

My z-offset for PETG is 0.025mm for example.

PETG can be nice but not all vendors produce good quality! see here my recent test…

p.s.: If a part needs to be just nice and will not be used in hot or sunny place then use (matte) PLA!
