This happens quite frequently during a print. I opened the gear box and removed the filament but even with clearing, it keeps happening at one point or another. I dried the filament and even tried another one but no luck.
Any ideas? The filament is Creality brand, both hyper and the Ender version.
What temps are you running on your hot end. I had a similar problem. As the ambient temps. rise it started to get worse so i droopped my nozzle temp by 10c and the jams have stopped. I was running at 230c now its 220c. Just a thought. I live in Northern MN. So spring is on the way. Good l.
I’m printing at 220 deg. but I never noticed the chamber temperature. The room that the printer is at is pretty warm so you make a good point. I’ll give this a go - thanks
That really did work, just opening the lid. Thank you.
Something else strange happened which you can see in the image attached. The entire print at some point shifted to the left and it continued printing on that shifted location. Maybe that’s an issue for another thread but posting here just in case that’s a common problem.
I did pause the print on the second layer but when I continued, it did pick up from the same spot. As you can see in the photo, it went off to the side quite a few layers above when I restarted it so I’m not sure it’s related.
