Printing starts OK, but first layer starts not adhering after about 30% is printed. I’ve tried both the smooth and textured PEI plated and with Pritt-stick on the smooth side, but it’s no better.
I’ve also upped the bed temp to 80C and 90C still no difference.
All help and suggestions are most welcome.
Note: No problems printing PLA.
TPU sticks like sh*t to a blanket on PEI, printed something today took me quite a struggle to remove it from the bed. I use gluestick as a release agent it sticks that well. Usual things apply, clean bed, proper z-offset, dried filament as it doesn’t print well when wet. My bed temp is 30°C so I don’t know if you are printing too hot.
From what I’ve read/experienced, tpu either permanently adheres to the plate or won’t stick. I always print it with a ton of glue stick(thin/medium layer across entire print area) for solid adhesion and it also works as a release agent since tpus stick to the glue and then won’t touch the build plate
