It’s been a while since I printed anything with overhangs on the K1 but I remember them printing fine but I just tried to print an item with overhangs that shouldn’t need supports and they came out terrible, all othere aspects of the print were great quality.
The standard Generic PLA profile was used in Creality Print (latest version) and my K1 is stock, the filament was my normal everyday use Oveture tough PLA.

It sounds like you’re encountering issues with overhangs when printing with your Creality K1 and Overture Tough PLA. Overhangs can be tricky, especially if they are steep or unsupported, but since you mentioned the other aspects of the print came out great, we can focus on a few things that could be impacting the overhang performance:
- Increase cooling fan speed (80-100% for overhangs).
- Slow down print speed for overhangs (30-40 mm/s).
- Lower extruder temperature (by 5-10°C).
- Use smaller layer height (0.1mm for finer detail).
- Dry filament if moisture is suspected.
- Check overhang angles and consider adding support.
