Power Screen - Working to optimize K1C screen

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on to improve the K1C screen interface.

I used Guppy Screen for a while, but I wasn’t completely happy with how it looked, so I decided to start developing a more user-friendly interface with some additional features. It’s still in beta, and the project is fully open source on GitHub.

For those using the Creality CFS Kit, I’ve also added some features to improve the manual M600 workflow. It can now automatically cut and unload the filament, use the CFS upgrades to purge into the correct waste bin, clean the nozzle, and then continue printing without requiring a manual filament change.

You can find the project here:
https://github.com/borferkic/K1C-CFS-POWER-SCREEN

I’m gradually adding more features and improvements. Here are a few screenshots of how it’s coming along.

Here is how you will see M600 in display:

If you have any suggestions or features you’d like to see, I’d love to hear your feedback!

Hi, great job…

Is there a version without CFS?

Best regards,

Alain.

Hello, thank you for sharing this excellent work :handshake:.
Could you please tell me if there will be a version for CFS-C? Thanks!

I’m going to look into installing it on firmware without CFS over the next few days. It should mainly require modifying the M600 so it doesn’t move to the filament cutting or extrusion areas.

Other than that, the printer information and the functions you can control should work normally. I’ll keep checking what I can do.

I’ll also look into what I can do for the CFS-C

well i decide to make a better UI for the screen, and making support for k1c withput cfs too

Pending: check all k1c 2025 documentation for implementation.
