Hi,
see video.
Is that normal?
If not, anyone already fixed that somehow?
Hi,

I had the same thing on my Qidi Xplus3 (and looks like my Q1Pro is going that way), the phosphor bronze bearing is glued into the housing, but it comes away. I added a bit of gasket (draught extruder) material to take up the slack. Look up on youtube the Qidi Xplus3 or Xmax3 wobbly head and you should get to the same solution.
That’s interesting. I just checked my Enders and they are all tight.
I wonder though why it’s only doing this on some machines…???
Glue coming away? Tolerances on the mouldings?
Sorry for my late response.
I couldn’t find any video about that issue… do you have a link for me?
With talking about gasket you mean silicon rings?
Also I am pretty familar with crafting I don’t see how to advance to that bearing without damaging something…
Also I don’t know what to add which would not come lose… maybe 2-component glue?
Fast hardening glue would probably break after some time under the vibration.
Update:
I just went into it (easier then I thought) and saw this.
The bearing is spring loaded as you can see on the counterpart on the left side.
So I guess the wobble is intentional. I screwed it back and I will leave it like that.
Do you also have a Ender 3-V3 from 2024?
I have both the 2024 Ender-3 V3 and Plus. No wobble but there is a very tiny movement of the print head up and down. Feels like it’s spring loaded held in place kind of like a shock absorber maybe…? Normal and doesn’t seem to affect prints…
