Hello everyone,
I have an “issue” where when I print a piece, it prints a large first bordel layer around my piece.
When I start printing, it just prints a border around my piece (like 1cm around) and print my piece inside. Now it fills this gap and I have to cut it (not always the best way).
Is there a reason or something that explains this?
I don’t recall changing any configuration.
Thanks for your help
Hello @Ali_IMRANE …!
Welcome to the Creality Forum…!
That’s called a “brim” which is placed around a print to better hold it to the build plate. It is on by default in Creality Print 5.0xx.
You can go into the settings and turn it off.
Watch some tutorials on slicer settings to get a better idea of what they do
