Print not sticking to bed!!!!

So I got TPE filament as a gift and man has it been a headache! For some reason it does not stick to the bed I have a smooth plate BUT have doe adding glue, upping temp of bed turning off or lower the power of the cooling fan (which is apparently also wrongly labeled, my model fan is actually the fan on the printer head?) and now I’m trying to do a z-offset but no where is that setting and I use the Creality software so…

what is the recommended bed temperature that states on the filament itself? have you tried using 3DLAC? usually it takes care of adhesion problems very easily

in terms of setting z-offset, i don’t have a K1 so don’t know exactly where it is, but setting z-offset is an option on the printer itself, not the slicer

Hiya, the recomended temp is 60-90 c.

I am debating using 3dLAC i have never used it but it did come up, ill look around on the printer settings i could find it (z offset)

Have you looked at magigoo products? I use them on all prints as when the bed heats up it grips and when it cools it releases (absolute witch craft!) They sell specific adhesives for different filament types but supergrip is a pretty good/ universal one.

In terms of z offset - on my k2 pro you can adjust it live on the print in settings- expert - z offset.

Otherwise in creality print there’s a little cog next to the printer in the top left corner - you may have to toggle advanced mode but you can adjust it there (permanent change until you move it back).

Though I’d recommend doing a live trial via the printer screen itself first so you don’t accidentally crash the nozzle then set a new profile based on your best offset.

Or you can adjust it live in klipper if you web browse to the printers IP on port 4408 I.e. 192.168.xxx.xxx:4408

I’ve never had the need to print with TPU so sadly I can’t offer any other help but also have you looked at your bed mesh? (Not sure how sensitive TPU is to variation differences)

Hope this helps and good luck with getting a working print with it!
