Printer starts print at 3%

My printer starts the print at 3%. It started happening after I replaced this

I put a new hot end on it, creality brand part…. And now i have this issue I’ve only been using the printer since Christmas and we bought it beginning of December. I’m starting to get a little frustrated as this is not how I imagined this purchase working out….

It’s all covered in plastic isn’t it? I had the same issue and I bought a new hotend kit. I left my print unattended and it went all wrong. I too had a hotend covered in plastic.
