Printing Issue with Creality Halot Mage S 14K – One Side Prints Perfectly, the Other Doesn’t

Hello everyone,

I’m experiencing a recurring printing issue with my Creality Halot Mage S 14K, and I’d like to know if anyone else has encountered the same problem.

As you can see in the photos, one part of the model prints perfectly, with all the details clearly reproduced, while the opposite side shows significant defects: incomplete printing, deformations, and areas where the resin doesn’t seem to have cured properly.

This issue occurs with different models and two different resins:

  • Fast Cast SuperCast (pink)

  • Liqcreate Wax Castable (blue)

I’ve already tried several prints, adjusting the exposure settings, model orientation, and support configurations, but haven’t been able to solve the problem.

The printer is properly leveled, the workshop temperature is around 22°C (72°F), and the UV screen appears to be working correctly.

What puzzles me most is that two opposite areas of the same model, printed simultaneously, show completely different results.

Has anyone experienced this issue, particularly with this printer? Do you have any idea what might be causing it (UV screen, vat film, exposure settings, peeling forces, or something else)?

And most importantly, has anyone found a solution?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice!
