Prints are getting ribs on my K1 max

I don’t know why but my prints with creality 5.x.x. suddenly get ribs (lines of the mesh on the outside) the surface is not smooth as it should be.
I have the latest update creality slicer.

Anyone have any idea’s what could be wrong???

It does it with all materials as pla, petg…

There could be a few mitigating factors, which version of CPrint are you using? Some versions work better than others, some are just painful to use. Creality has a repository of older versions.
Could you post a pic of the issue?
Do the “ribs” correspond to your infill pattern?
These are a few options that may contribute (V5.1.1.9490)

Hope it helps!

here is a picture

it looks very ugly.

the one wall on top setting I have already that box checked

I have the latest version 5.1.4.10249.

the difference between creality print 4.3(smooth) and 5.1.4.10249 (with ribs)

So Creality print 5.1.10249 is not usuable for the prints I make.

What do we do about it ???

I hate to do this but I have rooted my K1 max to use Orca slicer in the future until cp5.1.x is steadier and more reliable.

The results with orca are great, what a releive, now I can use my K1 max for the purpose I bought it for and make good prints.

Are you sure those ribs that seem to be only on the handle are not supposed to be there and just never printed that well before. Just a thought.

Here is a picture when it is printed on my bambu lab X1C

no ribs at all on that one

I fully gave up on Creality Print. It’s garbage. Flat and simple. I did my 1000hours of due diligence and that is my conclusion.
Want proof: I have posts all over the forums detailing the issues.
Want help: get Orca, watch a YouTube vid on setting it up, don’t look back.
When you download get it from:
(GitHub - SoftFever/OrcaSlicer: G-code generator for 3D printers (Bambu, Prusa, Voron, VzBot, RatRig, Creality, etc.))
DO NOT get a copy from OrcaSlicer.Net!!! Unless you love malware on your machine!
