Hello. I have the Mage S 14K, it worked great for a while, but then prints started to not stick to the plate, and boy oh boy are they sticking to the FEP. The FEP became dented so I changed it out, and it worked fantastic for ONE print. And now nothing sticks again. I’ve done six prints all on different days, nothing sticks to the plate. I’ve setup multiple attempts small prints all over the plate, looking if it is just one area or something, nothing close to each other, and nothing sticks. Well, as stated it sure sticks to the FEP, real pain getting it to come off that, but the plate, nothing. I have no idea how to fix this, Looking at other posts I dont see any real answers? Can anyone help?
Update. Thanks for being useless Creality folks. Way to stand behind your own products.
I got an answer that worked on another site. Thought I’d post it here for anyone else needing help as you are worthless.
I am not sure if you have the same build plate as I do on the Original Halot mage. Basicly a flat aluminum sheet on the build side. If so I have found on it about every 2-3 months I need to lightly sand it with 100-200 grit sand paper to put more micro grooves in it. If you do this make sure to wash with dawn type dishsoap and a microfibre cloth in hot water afterwards to get all the grit off the plate.
In regards to the FEP all you can do is make sure it is tight, That protective sheet was pulled off of both sides when you replaced it. and that you are not over exposing the first few layers. That time will depend on which Resin you are using.
