Hi all,
when i use the export g-code function and write to sdcard, the window appears at the bottom left where it is possible to eject the usb. if the program remains open and the export function is called several times, at a certain point it no longer works. to eject the usb i have to use the classic system function.
Hello lorenzodp and welcome,
I generally find if I leave the card in place for a few seconds after it has been written to, I simply take it out without selecting eject.
The reason I think eject is more of something left over from the days of HDD’s that were not of the SSD type. Therefore making sure the platters have spun down.
Just my view, but what I do with my SD cards and have not had a failure.
Cheers.
hello ,
to avoid problems on sdcards or anyway on usb devices, I always try to use the safe ejection method. It was just to report this anomaly inside CR6.
I had noticed the anomaly in the management of this small window a few versions ago (the mouse did not hear the click on the ejection). In the latest release it works but I noticed this anomaly and wanted to report it.
many thanks.
