thank you so much. you’re very kind. I am in communication through all channels, but they are slow. I am waiting for them to give me a final solution or I will request my money back. Of course, if that last case occurs, I will not trust Creality again.

Remember that they are based in China so the time differences do cause a delay in responses due to office hours. Creality support will look after you and will help you the best they can to get the printer running properly.

Any help would be appreciated
brand new k1, made 3 small prints, everything wonderful
now it does not extrude, just clicks, tried cleaning it as per a video
but feels way to solid so did not want to force the cleaner through
oh dear

Hello @Christopher …!

Welcome to the Creality Forum…! Creality

Looks like you will need to pull the extruder out and find that little piece of filament caught in the gears… Sorry…

Thank you for the assistance, I was a little unsure about getting in and disassembling things, but the video was most helpful, took it all apart and cleaned it all with a toothbrush and re-assembled it and it extrudes nicely,

Have a good day

Nice. Glad to hear the patient is recovering nicely after surgery… :stethoscope:

I know exactly how you feel when I had to do the same thing the first time…

Have fun…!

Hola, pudiste resolverlo? Yo tengo el mismo problema y es mi segundo extrusor. Saludos

@Jmb78 did you solve your problem? I bought a K1C yesterday and had the same problem.

I’m having the same issue with click, click, click and the filament not feeding. 3 nights ago the printer completed a 7 hour print. It was good. Then in the morning I started the next print… that was to be 4 hours and after 2 hours the extruded/head clogged. I’ve cleaned it out etc, restarted the print 4 or 5 times now… twice it’s got half way through and we’re back to click, click, click. Sometimes the printer can print one layer and then we’re into click, click, click.

I’ve had the extruded apart for inspection - all of the teeth on the gears are present - mechanically it all seems ok.

I’ve got the filament in a humidity controlled box and path of the filament as straight as I can get it with the glass still on the K1 Max.

Filament is PETG printing at 255. It has been extruding well …

I have a replacement extruder on order and hope to have it in the next couple of days, though I believe the current one is OK after my visual inspection.

I’m not sure what to do next. I’m confused.
