Hello I Need to print this in K1 Max, but the result not so Good, some one that have experience to Yelp me or give Good settings profile for cura or Creality slicer, is very difficult geometry
Sorry, but this is not a design for 3D printing!
You simply can’t 3D print that without heavy compromises in print quality! You need a lot of support and that support will leave a lot of traces everywhere.
Hello Cartoons_World,
Is the STL file for that somewhere available that I can try slicing it to see ??
I can’t make out the dimensions, but I would be interested is slicing it standing up to see what it might do.
Cheers.
Hey;
Thanks for your support those are what I Need to print if u Can help will be great
part465759_shrine-s320210105-30702-1bitsk5.stl (476,8 KB)
part465757_FDM-X.stl (5,2 MB)
part465773_shrine-s320210105-30702-14ecif4.stl (2,2 MB)
Hello Cartoons_World,
I have looked at the “bucket” file part465773 and rotated it 90 deg so it was standing upright.
When slicing it there is no error suggesting supports needed.
I will print it tomorrow to see how it comes out.
The other 2 parts seem of no problem … Am I missing something here ??
Cheers
Which material are you going to use? PLA+ with maximum cooling should handle those overhangs, might be a bit trickier in PETG.
Hello Cartoons_World,
Well, it printed OK to a fashion. I used some old filament so the print is not as good as could be … stringy etc.
I did not use supports either.
Unless you wanted to print 100s of these then cleaning up would not be a problem.
Cheers.
The other parta give me problem just in the Letters FDM that go not to celar
Can u share please the settings? Thanks
Hello Cartoons_World,
The only difference to standard setup is…
Wall loops = 5
Skirt loops = 2
Skirt distance = 2
Brim type = Outer brim only
Brim width = 2
Brim-object gap = 1
CR-PLA …
Nozzle temperature = 190
Bed temperature = 50
The filament (light blue) would have to be at least 2 years old.
Cheers.
“Do you have retraction settings configured? Are you experiencing stringing?”
I am using ABS
I print a lot of ABS and not had a problem with stringing at all.
The proBLEM yesterday when print the Big X letter traveling leaving rest of material, is of retraction? Stringing? or other thing thanks for the help
If I use supports, will be perfect?
Hello Cartoons_World,
The best way is to try it and see, I have not tried it with supports so can’t tell you.
Most importantly. Is your filament perfectly dry ? … do you use a dry box ? … can make a BIG difference.
Cheers.
I dont Have filament dray box, but I am using new filament
Hello Cartoons_World,
New and vacuum sealed filament can still contain moisture.
I put mine in a drier box for a few hours before using.
Once used, I put them back in for drying again (as the air here is humid 60 to 80%) and then store them in vacuum bags.
Cheers.
Ok thanks, I order drybox
