Problems with Model sticking to build Plate onHalot Mage Pro

Hello, new this forum, so hello everyone. I’m having a real problem trying to get my models to stick to the build plate. I’ve tried everything I can think of but still after a few layers the model sticks to the release film. I’ve adjusted the settings, I’ve levelled and re-levelled the bed. I’ve tried again with a brand new build plate and resin tray, (this needed to be done as a thread was stripped in both the resin tray and one of the build plate fixing screw holes). Don’t know what else to try. I might say that the printer was previoiusly working fine though I haven’t used it for nearly a year due to work going on in the house. The first print I did after the break was a small one which came out fine, but ever since this problem has occured. It is with the same model which is quite big, but shouldn’t be beyond the capabilities of the printer.

any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks

There are several reason that could cause this, the most common one is that the bottom exposure is still too low, but if raising it does not help then the “level” or Z-zero is probably still slightly off.

The release film might be too tight or not flexing enough after the vat change, so the print is getting pulled off the plate instead of peeling cleanly.

The resin may have gone bad or separated after sitting for nearly a year, even if it looks fine in the bottle. At least mix it very well. Resin can be dried to with a filament dryer by evaporating the water.

The room or resin may be too cold now, which can make the resin thicker and much more likely to fail during peeling. Try at least 22°C.

The FEP film may still have a protective sheet on it if the tray or film was replaced recently. Happened to some before, lol.

The model may be creating too much suction, especially if it has a big flat area, then rather put the model on supports.

The lift speed may be too fast for this particular print, so the layers are being ripped off during the peel.

The lift distance may be too short, so the layer never fully releases from the film before the next layer starts.

OK, thank you. I will work through your suggestions and see if I can get to the bottom of th problem.
